How cool would it be to be a movie star for a week? KENNY KREBS from St. Johns County, FL and his family found joy in making that dream a reality, knowing nothing about movie making. The family owns a manufacturing business that supplies materials for construction work. They spent $3-Million dollars of their own money on a film they wrote, produced and starred in. Shot in South Africa so the scenes look authentic, the movie setting is the year 29 A.D. An MMA-style prize fighter named Oren, befriends the carpenter Yeshua (that’s ‘Jesus’ in Hebrew). Yeshua bails Oren out of trouble, and Orin becomes Yeshua’s apprentice. That combo sounded a little far-fetched so I watched it; it works! When tragedy hit the Krebs family behind the scenes — 2 of them were stricken with cancer and one died — Kenny Krebs dedicated the film, not only to his family .. but to anyone needing encouragement and strength during tough times. He’s found joy helping cancer patients; operating on their brains — while they’re awake. The world knows Dr. Q, thanks in part to an appearance in a Netflix/BBC documentary series. There’s even a movie about his life in the works!
